Goals from Chalobar , Mason Mount and Kai Havertz were enough to roll troubled Chelsea past Norwich City at Carrow road in the English Premier league encounter decided on Thursday evening.
Chelsea got off to the best possible start when Chalobar headed home a Mason Mount corner kick in the 2nd minute to calm all nerves and set the tone for a win in the middle of a great storm as the club battles with various sanctions.
Just few hours to kickoff, Sponsors Three announced their decision to suspend their contract with the London club plus series of other sanctions from the Football association which will impact on the clubs ability to renew player contracts.
None of this was felt on the turf. A brief spell of fear was however felt when Purki pulled one back for Norwich to put scores at 1-2 but Kai Havertz added a third to settle frayed nerves and roll the maximum points into the bag for Thomas Tuchel’s blue army. It finished Norwich 1-3 Chelsea.
