Chelsea end Manchester United 19-game unbeaten run to book FA Cup final with Arsenal
Chelsea beat Manchester United 3-1 at Wembley Stadium on Sunday to book an all London FA Cup final against Arsenal.
The Blues who had suffered three defeats in the hands of The Reds earlier in the season got one over their rivals on Sunday.
Olivier Giroud scored from a close range to put Chelsea in front just before half time. At the start of second half, Mason Mount increased Chelsea’s lead with a shot that should have been saved by De Gea.
Manchester United and world most expensive defender, Harry Maguire deflected a shot from Marcos Alonso into the back of the net to increased Chelsea’s lead to three.
The Red Devils, however, got a consolation after second half substitute Callum Hudson-Odoi fouled Anthony Martial and inform Bruno Fernandes scored from the spot kick.
In the end Chelsea secured an important 3-1 win against Manchester United to secure a date with Arsenal in the final in all London club final.
The loss ended Manchester United’s 19-game unbeaten run.
