Chelsea failed to register a shot on target in a Premier League game for the first time since 2007
Incredibly, Chelsea failed to register a single shot on target against Man United in their 2-0 league defeat.
They haven’t done that in a Premier League game since September 2007 when, once again, United beat them 2-0 at Old Trafford. That’s almost 10 years.
Back then, Jose Mourinho had just left his role as Chelsea manager and Avram Grant stepped into the hotseat and eventually guided them to the 2008 Champions League final where Man United pipped them again.
Despite the latest loss, though, the Blues are still top of the league and currently hold a four-point lead over Tottenham.
