Chido Obi-Martin scores 7-goals for Arsenal U18 in big win over Norwich

Young English footballer of Nigerian heritage, Chido Obi-Martin, is making headlines with his stellar performance for Arsenal’s under-18 team.

In a recent match against Norwich City, the 16-year-old striker showcased his goal-scoring prowess by netting an impressive seven goals, contributing significantly to Arsenal’s commanding 9-0 victory.

Chido Obi-Martin demonstrated exceptional skill on the field, scoring five goals in the first half alone, including two hat tricks within the first 17 minutes of play.

His scoring spree continued with two more goals in the second half, bringing his total tally to an impressive 24 goals in his last seven games.

This isn’t the first time the young Danish-Nigerian forward has caught attention for his goal-scoring abilities. In a previous match against Liverpool’s U16s, Obi found the back of the net an astounding ten times, leading Arsenal to a resounding 14-3 victory.

Obi’s outstanding performances have propelled Arsenal’s under-18 team to third place in the U18 Premier League South standings, trailing behind Chelsea and West Ham United.

In addition to his club success, Obi’s potential has not gone unnoticed on the international stage. With a Danish mother and Nigerian father, he has represented both Denmark and England at the international youth level.

Following his recent achievements, Obi has been added to the roster of athletes represented by Elite Project Group, the same agency that represents Arsenal star Bukayo Saka.
