Chinedu Udechukwu joins Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana

Katsina United striker Chinedu Udechukwu has finally joined up with Slovenian club Olimpija Ljubljana and had his first training this evening.

The former Jigawa Golden Stars striker spoke about his experience in his first training at his new club

“Yes, I am very happy to train with my new club for the first time today,” he said.

“I got to Slovenia on Saturday after I left Nigeria on Friday evening and I was asked to rest on Sunday and go for training on Monday evening

“The atmosphere and everything here is different from Nigeria. The facility is top notch and I think I am enjoying my stay here already because everybody here has been very wonderful and kind, thereby making me to settle down easily.”

He is expected to undergo a routine medical on Wednesday.

“I met with the club President today, he confirmed to me that my medical will come on Wednesday,” he further told SCORENigeria

“I can’t just wait to pass the medical and start playing here.”

The giant striker will wear jersey number 40 that bears the name EDU. b
