Chukwueze fights Sarabia, Parejo and Oyarzabal for La Liga player of the week

Samuel Chukwueze scintillating display at Estadio de la Cerámica in Tuesday’s eight-goal thriller draw involving Villarreal and Barcelona has been rewarded.

The 19-year-old attacker who scored a goal and assisted another in the 4-4 draw was named amongst the top performers for the award of La Liga player of week 30.

Samuel Chukwueze must fight off competition from Daniel Parejo, Pablo Sarabia and Mikel Oyarzabal. Daniel Parejo helped Valencia increase their unbeaten run to 17 with victory over his former club Real Madrid. Pablo Sarabia scored and assisted a goal in Sevilla’s win against Alaves and Mikel Oyarzabal who scored and assisted Real Sociedad’s 2-1 win against Betis.

Samuel Chukwueze has scored a total of seven goals, assisted three goals in twenty nine games that he has played in all competitions this season.
