Chukwueze On Target For Villarreal Against Mallorca

Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze was on target for Villarreal in their 4-2 loss to Mallorca on Saturday in a 2022-23 La liga encounter.

Tino Kadewere gave Mallorca the lead in the 20th minute before Morales restored parity for Villarreal just before halftime.

Manu Tigueros was sent off for Villarreal in the first half.

Dani Rodriguez restored Mallorca’s lead on the stroke of halftime.

Five minutes after the restart, Chukwueze scored the equaliser for Villarreal.

It was Chukwueze’s second La Liga goal of the season after scoring his first goal against Valencia in December.

Dani Rodriguez and Vedat Murigi scored in the second half to hand Mallorca a 4-2 win.

The defeat leaves Villarreal in ninth position, seven points adrift of Atletico Madrid in fourth place.

Up next for Villarreal is a clash against Getafe next Monday.
