Clean MRI! CAF clear Golden Eaglets stars for WAFU B Championship

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets are preparing to defend their title at the WAFU B U17 Championship in Ghana with a full squad of 20 players. The Confederation of African Football (CAF) confirmed that all players presented by Nigeria have passed medical examinations without any issues.

This validation confirms the meticulous screening process conducted by the coaching staff, led by U-17 World Cup winner Garba Manu, before the team’s departure.

With the entire Golden Eaglets squad cleared, the WAFU B defending champions are poised to compete at full strength in the tournament.

The Golden Eaglets will kick off their title defense against Burkina Faso at the University Stadium on Thursday, followed by matches against Niger Republic and Togo in the group stage.

With their sights set on retaining the WAFU U17 crown they won last year, Nigeria’s confidence is bolstered by having their entire squad available for the competition.

The credibility of the screening process ensures that the Eaglets can face the region’s best teams with confidence. With a full arsenal at their disposal, Nigeria is highly favored to make a strong showing and potentially clinch another WAFU title in Accra, Ghana.
