Cooper Flagg Makes NBA History as Mavericks Edge Heat

Cooper Flagg delivered a performance to remember as the Dallas Mavericks beat the Miami Heat 113-109, becoming the first teenager in NBA history to record at least 25 points, 10 assists, five rebounds and five steals in a single game.

The 19-year-old finished with 29 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and five steals, giving Dallas a major contribution at both ends of the court.

Flagg’s scoring and playmaking proved crucial in a closely fought contest, with the Mavericks holding off Miami to secure the road victory.

P.J. Washington also had a strong night, finishing with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Kyrie Irving added 18 points, six rebounds and six assists.

The result was a welcome one for Dallas, but Flagg’s historic performance was the headline story. His ability to score, create opportunities for teammates and make defensive plays showed just how much he can contribute to the team.

At 19, Flagg is already producing numbers that place him in NBA history. If this performance is any indication, the Mavericks have plenty to look forward to as he continues to develop.
