Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez are officially married after tying the knot in a private ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on August 11.

The couple shared the news themselves on Instagram, posting a photo of their hands showing their wedding rings with the simple caption:

“C ❤️ G”

The ceremony was a private one, with only their five children reportedly present. 

The wedding comes exactly one year after Georgina announced their engagement on Instagram. The couple had been together for almost a decade after first meeting in Madrid in 2016.

After years of speculation about when they would officially get married, Ronaldo and Georgina have now made it official and they chose to share the moment in their own simple way.
