Cristiano Ronaldo takes Football Streaming to another Level After Investing in LiveModeTV
Cristiano Ronaldo has expanded his involvement in football beyond the pitch after becoming a strategic partner and shareholder in LiveModeTV, a sports streaming platform that secured rights to broadcast 34 matches from the 2026 FIFA World Cup for free on YouTube in Portugal.
The deal includes every match involving Portugal, giving fans free access to the national team’s World Cup campaign through LiveModeTV’s digital platform.
Ronaldo’s involvement came as LiveMode looked to expand its digital-first approach to sports broadcasting, using YouTube, social media and creators to reach younger audiences.
The Portugal captain said: “The mission is to bring sport to new generations of fans in a completely new and inspiring way.”
Ronaldo’s involvement gives LiveModeTV an even bigger profile ahead of the World Cup, particularly in Portugal, where fans will be able to watch every match involving the national team for free on YouTube.
