Curry continues to dazzle for the Warriors, Irving leads Cavs past Kings

Steph Curry continued to amaze the crowds during the Golden State Warriors’ 115-94 win over a spirited Utah Jazz.

Curry’s half-court buzzer beater at the end of the second quarter was just the latest bit of magic to add to the 27-year-old’s incredible highlight reel and put the Warriors 11 points up at half-time.

He finished with 12 points and 10 assists, helping Klay Thompson to a game-high 23-point haul of his own, while Draymond Green (17) and Marreese Speight (16) also contributed for the Warriors.

The Jazz’s charge was led by Trey Burke who finished on 18 points.

LeBron James (25 points, 11 rebounds), Kevin Love (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Tristan Thompson (18 points, 15 rebounds) completed a treble of double-doubles as the Cleveland Cavaliers secured a 120-111 win over the Sacramento Kings.

Kyrie Irving was also in fine form for the winning visitors as he finished with 30 points.

Russell Westbrook posted another triple-double as the Oklahoma City Thunder downed the Los Angeles Clippers 120-108.

It was another scintillating display from Westbrook, who posted 25 points, a career-high 20 assists and 11 rebounds in Oklahoma.

The five-time All-Star now has 30 triple-doubles in his career, having recorded 11 this season alone.

Kevin Durant also contributed significantly with 30 points and 12 rebounds.

The Clippers were led by Jeff Green (23) and J.J. Reddick (22) on the road.

Kemba Walker was inspirational again as he helped extend the Charlotte Hornets’ winning streak to five games via a 122-113 victory at home to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Walker scored 35 points – his fourth consecutive outing with 30 or more points – to maintain Charlotte’s fine form.

The Pelicans still lost despite 40 points and 13 rebounds from Anthony Davis, while Jrue Holiday poured in a season-high 38 points.

Elsewhere, the Boston Celtics made it 14 straight wins at home after triumphing 116-96 over the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Miami Heat fell 114-108 to the Milwaukee Bucks.

James Harden and Dwight Howard combined to lead the Houston Rockets past the Philadelphia 76ers 118-104, the Detroit Pistons were too good for the Dallas Mavericks 102-96, and the New York Knicks trumped the Phoenix Suns 128-97.
