Curry drops 50 points as Warriors defeat Atlanta Hawks

Nuggets, Lakers, Bulls, Mavericks, Grizzlies all win

Steph Curry delivered a performance for the ages as he recorded 50 points and 10 assists for the Golden State Warriors in their 127-113 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

After their win against the Atlanta Hawks, the Golden State Warriors have now won nine games out of 10 this season, giving them the best record in the NBA this season. Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins contributed 16 and 13 points, respectively.

Los Angeles Lakers ended their two-game losing run with a 126-123 OT win over the Charlotte Hornets. 37-year-old Carmelo Anthony gave a reminder of his being the best #6 man in the division as he came off the bench to record 29 points and 3 rebounds for the Lakers. Russell Westbrook contributed a triple-double before going off injured, racking up 17 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists. Anthony Davis led the scoring with 32 points.

Phoenix Suns defeated the Sacramento Kings 109-104 to pick up their sixth win of the season. Cameron Payne led the scoring for the Suns with 24 points, four rebounds and three assists. Devin Booker contributed 18 points for the Suns in the win.

Denver Nuggets secured a 113-96 win over the Miami Heat to hand them only their third defeat of the season. Last season’s MVP Nikola Jokic contributed a triple-double for the Nuggets with 25 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists before he got evicted alongside Markieff Morris for fouling each other.

Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a 108-92 win over the New Orleans Pelicans to continue the Pelicans wretched start to the season by handing them their tenth defeat in 11 matches. Doncic recorded 25 points with five rebounds and five assists for the Mavericks.

Chicago Bulls defeated the Brooklyn Nets 118-95 to hand them their fourth defeat of the season in 11 matches. DeMar DeRozan continues to lead the Bulls as he recorded 28 points in the win. Zach LaVine contributed 24 points in the win as rookie Ayo Dosunmu tallied 15 points off the bench for the Bulls.

Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 125-118 in their NBA clash. Ja Morant led the scoring for the Grizzlies with 33 points in the game. Karl-Anthony Towns recorded 25 points and 13 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 103-96 in their clash on Monday. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett contributed double-doubles in the win, with Randle recording 31 points and 12 rebounds, and Barrett recording 15 points and 10 rebounds.
