Odion Ighalo and his Al Hilal teammates will by 5:30pm (Nigerian time) today (Sunday) take on Al Jazira in today’s FIFA Club world Cup quarter final match.
On Saturday evening, CAF representatives Al Ahly defeated Monterrey 1-0 to set up a semi final vs Brazilian side Palmeiras. The Brazilian side like UEFA champions league winners Chelsea were ceded to enter the tournament from the Semi Final stage.
Today’s Quarter final will pitch Odion Ighalo and his new teammates against an Al Jazira team enjoying home support and boasting in confidence after their opening day 4-1 victory over OFC representatives Pirae.
