Nigeria Hockey Champions, Niger Flickers, are on the brink of elimination as they suffer another defeat at the onging African Cup of Club Championship in Kenya while Nigeria other representative El Rufai Babes are flying high.
Nigeria representative at the ongoing African Cup of Club Championship in the male category, Niger Flickers have suffered another defeat in Kenya.
Niger Flickers who kick started their campaign with a 5-2 defeat in the hands of Ghana Police on Sunday lost again 2-1 to Shakia of Egypt yesterday.
Niger Flickers must beat Kenya by six goal margin while hoping that Shakia beat Ghana police in their last game for them to stand a chance of making it to the semi-final.
The other Nigeria representative, El Rufai Babes are flying high in the female category. Having played a 2-2 draw in their first game the Nigerian female champions trashed Kenya 5-1 yesterday to put them in very good position to advance into the next stage.
El Rufai Babes will play their last group stage game against Weatherhead on Wednesday by 8:30am while Niger Flickers will be looking for miracle when they play Butali Warriors from Kenya on Wednesday by 1pm.
