Cyriel Dessers looks forward to more wins with Rangers after Servette game
Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers has expressed her desire for more wins with Glasgow Rangers after the first came in the game vs Servette.
Dessers scored his first goal for Scottish side Glasgow Rangers in midweek as they won 2-1 vs Swiss Club Servette in the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification round.
That win was a relief after a loss to Kilmarnock in the opening week of the season.
” That’s what we wanted[the victory against Servette],” Dessers said per Football Scotland.
“Of course, after the loss[to Kilmarnock] on Saturday, we were not a bad team or anything like that.
“We knew we had to come out strong, and we showed the fans what we can give them and do as a team, especially the first half hour. I think we showed that.
“That’s only the beginning. We are going to grow in fitness and relationships and as a team, and it looks very promising.” the Nigerian International concluded.
Cyriel Dessers joined Scottish Premier League club Glasgow Rangers from Italian Club Cremonese in the current transfer window.
Another Nigerian , Leon Balogun is also on Micheal Beale’s team but has been on the bench for the opening two games of the season.
