Cyril Olisema tips Akwa United to blow Al-Ittihad away like they did Hawks FC

Akwa United midfielder Cyril Olisema is confident his side will do exactly what they did to Hawk FC in their preliminary round game to Al-Ittihad when they faceoff in their first leg round one clash in Tunisia.

The federation cup champions will play their first leg against Al-Ittihad of Sudan in Tunisia at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri where the Sudanese club will be playing all their CAF Competition home games.

Cyril Olisema whose brace in Banjul gave Akwa United a 2-0 win against Hawk FC to take them to the CAF Confederation Cup round one on 3-2 aggregate, is certain that with the right mentality and attitude like they had against Hawk FC in their preliminary clash, Akwa United will roll over Al-Ittihad.

He also pointed that they playing against a North African team wouldn’t be an issue for him and his teammates as they are psychologically prepared for the battle.

“I was very happy to have scored the vital goals that secured our qualification to the 1/16th round and this has really boosted my confidence ahead of our next match against Al-Ittihad,” Olisema told CAFOnline.com

“I don’t believe it is difficult to play against North African teams; we have to be psychologically prepared. If we play to instructions and adopt the same mentality as we did against Hawks FC in Banjul, we would definitely smile home,” he noted.

The game between Akwa United and Al-Ittihad at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri will take place on Wednesday 7th by 5 pm.
