Dakkada FC complete signing of exciting defensive prospect Emmanuel Ugwu

Nigeria Professional Football League club Dakkada FC have completed the signing of exciting defender Emmanuel Ugwu Chiebonam.

Emmanuel last season played consistently in the Nigeria National League with Giant Brillars FC where he excelled as a central defender, with his attacking forays producing two goals .

For his impressive performances, the Delight Football Academy of Edo State product was subject of transfer enquiry from several clubs in addition to an invitation to the Nigeria U-20 team .

A slight injury aborted his National team ambition but that will not have any impact on his next move as he recovered in time to seal a move to Dakkada FC ahead of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

Following his transfer to the NPFL club, the Enugu-state born Central defender will hope to work his back to reckoning with the Flying Eagles handlers as the team prepares for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

His positional discipline, tackle accuracy and excellent range of passing from defence crowning his amazing talent as one of the most exciting defensive prospects in the Country.

Managed by Mr Osamede Amadin, Emmanuel Ugwu is a name to watch out for when the 2022/2023 NPFL season begins.
