Dakkada FC will engage Nordic Academy In a friendly match ahead of the October 28, Nigeria National League (NNL) kick-off date.

As announced by Nationwide League club, Nordic Football Academy, the friendly match will take place by 3:30pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Uyo Township.

That venue will on October 28, host the official opening match of the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League (NNL) season between Dakkada FC of Uyo vs 1472 FC of Lagos.

Meanwhile, players of Dakkada FC on Monday, October 23, successfully completed medical procedures for their registration for the season.

Having scaled through a two-weeks long screening process, selected players were subjected to medical tests to ascertain their health status ahead of the football season.

Dakkada FC will continue preparations with the game against Nordic Academy, another opportunity for Coach Emmanuel King to prepare his charges for their return to the second tier.

Following their relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League at the end of the 2022/2023 season, Dakkada FC will play in the NNL for the first time since emerging champions of the 2019/2020 season.

In their last preparatory game on Sunday October 22, the Chosen Ones comfortably dispatched Immortality Football Club 4-0 at the Uyo Township Stadium.
