Dakkada FC face Bayelsa United FC in NPFL Pre-season friendly
Nigeria Professional Football League sides Dakkada FC and Bayelsa United FC will today, Wednesday November 30, 2022 engage in a pre-season friendly game in Uyo.
The match will take place at the Practice pitch of the Nest of Champions, Uyo with kick-off billed for 4pm.
Like every other NPFL clubs, Dakkada FC and Bayelsa United FC have had series of pre-season friendly games to keep their players in shape as they wait for the kick-off date for the 2022/2023 season.
Hosts Dakkada FC have impressed in pre-season, prominent amongst their friendly wins a 1-0 victory over Enyimba International FC at the Eket Sports Stadium, new signing Kufre Ebong with the only goal to seal victory for The Chosen Ones.
2021 AITEO Cup winners Bayelsa United FC have also been busy in Pre-season as they prepare for a return to the top-flight following their promotion at the end of National League season.
The Peace Boys last week participated in the Nigeria National League Super Four Playoffs. As hosts, Bayelsa United FC secured 4 points to finish behind Bendel Insurance FC who claimed the title In Yenegoa.
For the friendly game in Uyo, both teams will pride at another opportunity to test their playing personnel and system whilst the wait for the commencement of the new season continues.
