David Luiz mocks Frank Lampard after helping Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal beat Manchester United

Arsenal defender David Luiz has thrown shades at Chelsea boss Frank Lampard after his contribution in the gunners 2-0 win against Manchester United on the New Year’s day.

David Luiz who left Chelsea for Arsenal on the last day of transfer said he left the London club after a philosophy disagreement with Frank Lampard.

“Me and Lampard, we had honest conversations. Man to man, me and him,’ the 32-year-old centre back told The Telegraph. ‘His ideas of football were different to mine. We just agreed: “OK, we move on”. In an honest way, in a mature way.

‘We played together, we won together. We won the Champions League, the Europa League, everything together. It was done in a mature way.’

But after playing a great role in helping Arsenal secure an important win against United, the former PSG and Benfica defender said he is into Mikel Arteta’s Philosophy.

“He is a great coach. I believe in his philosophy. I believe he can improve every single player.”

David Luiz for his role in the game was awarded the man of the match.
