Dessers, Onuachu on target for Genk in pre-season friendly

Super Eagles strikers Cyriel Dessers and Paul Onuachu were on target for their Belgian club KRC Genk in their 3-3 pre-season friendly game against Utrecht.

Cyriel Dessers who played and scored in the second half in Genk 4-1 friendly win against Excelsior last week got the nod ahead of Paul Onuachu this time.

And the Belgian-born Super Eagles invitee didn’t disappoint his manager as he equalised for his side with four minutes left in the first for his second pre-season goal.

In the second half, Paul Onuachu, Stephen Odey and Shawn Adewoye were all introduced for Genk.

Paul Onuachu who fired blank in the last friendly game, was on target this time scoring from the spot kick to give his side a 2-1 lead.

But an unfortunate incident lead to Shawn Adewoye scoring an own goal to equalise for the Utrecht.
