Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers scored and assisted another to help Glasgow Rangers to a 2-1 win over Morton in the Scottish League Cup.
In the match played on Saturday August 19, Cyriel Dessers involved at both ends, conceding a penalty with a foul in the Rangers box for Morton to score the opening goal early in the second half before scoring from the spot to draw level in the 60th minute.
The former Cremonese forward then provided assist for Danilo to score the winner for Ranger who now advance to the next round of this years League cup .
Cyriel Dessers was on for 81 minutes before he was replaced by Rolfe. The forward has now scored in Europe, League and Cup for Glasgow Rangers.
Also, Nigerian defender Leon Balogun made a rare start for Rangers and was close to scoring when his effort came off the woodwork.
