Devine Nwachukwu U15 goal-scoring sensation promises U17 AFCON title

Under-15 goal-scoring sensation Devine Nwachukwu has promised that the Golden Eaglets will clinch the 2019 U17 AFCON in Tanzania.

The exciting youngster was drafted to the Eaglets at the last minute after several players from last year’s zonal qualifiers failed the MRI age test.

“We’re in Tanzania to bring back the trophy,” promised Nwachukwu before the team jetted out of the country Wednesday to the U17 AFCON,” as quoted by ScoreNigeria.

“We will play as a team to win to make Nigeria and our families proud of us.”

Five-time world champions Nigeria will begin their U17 AFCON campaign on Saturday against hosts Tanzania on Saturday.

They also battle Angola and Uganda in the group stage.
