Dominic Solanke takes part in Liverpool first pre-season training

Liverpool summer signing Dominic Solanke was seen taking part in pre-season training with his new club for the first time on Wednesday morning.
The Merseyside giants announced Solanke’s arrival at the end of May but the 19-year-old striker has had to wait until July, upon the expiration of his Chelsea contract, to join up with his Reds team-mates.
Putting in the groundwork. 💪

Solanke, who was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem last season, only managed one first-team appearance for the Blues before securing a move to Anfield this summer in search of more regular game-time.
The highly-rated forward was awarded the Golden Ball for player of the tournament at this year’s FIFA Under-20 World Cup where England won their first global competition since 1966.
Following a short break after his heroics in South Korea, Solanke has returned to pre-season training and was spotted at Melwood alongside first-team stars such as Joel Matip, James Milner, Jordan Henderson.
Liverpool’s fee for Solanke still must be decided by a tribunal, with the Reds expected to pay around £3million.
