Former player for Manchester United, Paul Parker has advised the club to retain Erik ten Hag as their manager. He believes that the Dutchman should continue leading the team into the next season.
Parker highlighted Ten Hag’s ability to handle the team despite various injury challenges. He stressed that the club should acknowledge his accomplishments and keep him in his role.
Speaking to MyBettingSites, Parker expressed his opinion that sacking Ten Hag would be a mistake. He pointed out that finding a suitable replacement would be challenging and that any new manager would likely have similar plans to Ten Hag’s.
“Should they sack him? No. Would it be a mistake? Yes. Cause there’s no one out there.
“People are scratching their heads about who’s next. Whoever comes in is going to want to do exactly the same as Erik ten Hag.
“If the club is willing to do exactly that, then they have to decide who’s the best person to lead that they want to bring in,” Parker said.
