Poland Intl and defender Łukasz Piszczek will play no part in the Intl friendly game vs Nigeria at the 42,000 Municipal Stadium on friday as the Dortmund player is set to attend to his wife who is in child labour.
This was confirm by Polish national team fans website, Łączy nas piłka stating the Polish international is effectively ruled out of the Nigeria clash.
“Lukasz Piszczek left the group of Polish national team on Thursday afternoon and left for Dortmund to participate in the birth of the child. This means that the defender of the national team will not perform in the Friday match against Nigeria at the Wroclaw Stadium. Piszczek will join the team already in Katowice and will take part in preparations for the meeting with South Korea, which will take place on March 27 at 20:45 at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów,” the Polish news outlet declared.
The right-back left the rest of the White and Reds camp on Thursday afternoon with a promise to return to the fold before their clash against South Korea, a game scheduled for March 27 at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.
