D’Tigress Storm into AfroBasket Women Semifinals with Dominant Win over Cameroon

Nigeria’s D’Tigress have advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 AfroBasket Women Championship following a comprehensive 83-47 victory over Cameroon in Abidjan on Wednesday.

The reigning champions were in total control throughout the quarterfinal clash, extending their unbeaten run on the continent since 2017.

Team captain, Sarah Ogoke, marked her return to the squad with a three-pointer, while all 12 players featured in the game and got on the scoresheet — a strong display of team depth and cohesion.

With this victory, Coach Rena Wakama and her side move a step closer to defending their title, as they aim for yet another continental crown.
