D’Tigress zoom into #AfrobasketWomen final after 79-58 win against Mali

Nigeria’s women national basketball team D’Tigeres have booked their place in the Afrobasket women final after a convincing 79-58 win against Mali.

Nigeria, just as they’ve done in other games blitzed their opponents from start to finish.

Five D’Tigress players posted double figure points in total of 66 points; Evelyn Akhator 12 points, Adaora Elonu 13 points, Atonye Nyingifa 10 points, Ezine Kalu 19 points, Ify Ibekwe 12 points.

Evelyn Akhator posted another double-double 12 points, 13 rebounds for her second of the tournament after her 13 points and 10 rebounds in the first game against Tunisia.

Nigeria now one win away from securing their 4th Afrobasket women title.
