Duncan undecided on future after Spurs bow out of play-offs

Veteran Tim Duncan did not give much away when asked about his playing future following the San Antonio Spurs’ exit from the NBA play-offs.

The Spurs and their post-season run came to an end on Thursday, crashing out of the Western Conference semi-finals 4-2 after losing game six 113-99 in Oklahoma City.

With San Antonio eliminated from the play-offs, attention quickly turned to five-time champion Duncan and whether he played his final NBA game.

However, the 40-year-old – who has a player option – remains undecided over his future.

“I’ll get to that after I get out of here and figure life out,” Duncan told reporters following his 18-point performance.

In 10 play-off games this season, Duncan averaged 5.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 blocks.

The two-time NBA MVP had far better numbers during the regular season as he averaged 8.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists.
