Engr. Simon Nkom: Kaduna teams will participate in 2018 ACCC in Abuja
The chairman of Kaduna State Hockey association has confirmed that Kaduna teams will be participating in 2018 African Cup for Club Champions.
A report broke of how the teams; Kada Stars and Queens who are Nigerian champions will not be playing a part of the African Championship, but that is in the past and the teams have been confirmed for the most prestigious hockey competition in Africa.
Engr. Simon Nkom who doubles as the Vice president of Nigerian Hockey Federation and the chairman of Kaduna state hockey association debunked the reports of his team impending absence and confirmed their participation in the ACCC.
“I as the chairman of Kaduna State hockey association categorically states that the teams are participating and we all await success for all Nigerian teams.”
Kaduna teams alongside Niger Flickers and Delta Queens are Nigeria’s representatives at the tournament scheduled for December 15th to 22nd in Abuja.
