Enyimba, Akwa United blockbuster set to headline NPFL Matchday 32

Kano Pillars to face Sunshine Stars, Nasarawa United to face Ifeanyi Ubah

Matchday 32 of the NPFL is set to hold across nine centres on Sunday, July 11th with a mega clash set to take place in Uyo.

At the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, first-place Akwa United will host fourth-place Enyimba in a clash of titans. Both sides are separated by just three points and know that a win is the most desirable result that can be gotten from the fixture. Both sides will be buoyed by the return of their stars such as Anayo Iwuala, John Noble, Imoh Obot for Enyimba, and for Akwa United, their defensive lynchpin Olisa Ndah, top scorer Charles Atshimene and midfield maestro Seth Mayi.

Second-place Nasarawa United face a tricky trip to the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium in Nnewi, where they will face relegation-threatened FC Ifeanyi Ubah, knowing that a win can take them to the top of the table.

Kano Pillars will take on a resurgent Sunshine Stars side at the Ondo State Sports Complex. Sai Masu Gida are in third place in the league, and they surely know that every match is vital to their title bid.

Jigawa Golden Stars will host Plateau United at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna. The home side are presently stuck in the relegation zone and will come into the match with the intention of leaving their present 17th position on the NPFL log.

Lobi Stars will host Adamawa United at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi. The visitors know that they have a huge task on their hands if they are to escape relegation this season, and every match is important in their season.

MFM FC will host Katsina United at the Soccer Temple in Agege as both sides will be looking to avoid any slip-ups and finish the season on a positive note.

Rangers will be looking to put the disappointment of their AITEO Cup exit behind them when they host Wikki Tourists at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu in their NPFL matchday 32 encounter. The Flying Antelopes have been inconsistent this season, but will be looking to finish the season in one of the continental places.

Warri Wolves will face a daunting task when they pay a visit to the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, the Rivers United slaughterhouse, for their Matchday 32 fixture in the NPFL. The Seasiders are stuck in the relegation zone in the NPFL, and will be looking to stage an upset that can kickstart their revival bid.

Fresh from a huge victory in the AITEO Cup, Abia Warriors will host a tiring Kwara United side at the Okigwe Township Stadium. The Umuahia Landlords have lost five consecutive games in the league, and will be looking to scupper the hopes of the Afonja Warriors of lifting the NPFL title at the end of the season.
