Enyimba FC players to get 20m cash gift for NPFL title win
For winning the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League title, players of Enyimba International FC will get twenty million naira cash gift from the Abia State Government .
This revelation comes few days after a reception was organized in honour of the victorious Enyimba International FC players and officials at the banquet hall of the Abia State Government House.
At the event, the state government , owners and sponsors of the nine-time Nigerian champions did not make any gift pronouncement, but gave assurances the club will get adequate support to succeed in the CAF Champions League next season.
In appreciation for bringing honour to the State, the Dr Alex Otti led Abia State Government has now released the sum of 20 million naira as gift for the players while erstwhile chairman Chief Felix Anyansi, head coach Finidi George, his assistants and other support staff will get varying sums for their efforts.
The People’s Elephants are currently preparing for the Naija Super 8 playoff in Lagos, where they will lock horns with Rivers United FC, Remo Stars FC, Lobi Stars FC, Yobe Desert Stars FC, Katsina United FC, Akwa United FC and Premier League new boys Sporting Lagos FC for more honours in the off-season tournament.
