Enyimba host Plateau United, Rivers United welcome Nasarawa: NPFL Matchday 9 Preview

Matchday 9 of the NPFL kicks off on Saturday February 6th with a number of mouthwatering clashes scheduled to hold throughout the Matchday ending on Monday February 8th.

On Saturday in the only fixture, log leaders, Enyimba welcome 10th placed Plateau United to the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba looking to maintain their place at the summit of the table. The game will be aired live on NTA and the NPFL.tv app from 4pm.

On Sunday, second-bottom Abia Warriors go to Uyo where they face Dakkada at the Nest of Champions hoping that their win last week was not just a flash in the pan. The game will be aired on NTA and the NPFL.tv app from 4pm.

Akwa United host Katsina United at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. Katsina will be looking to build on their win over Rivers United with another good performance here. The game will air on NTA and the NPFL.tv app from 6:30pm.

Rangers International welcome Warri Wolves to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu looking to break into the top three in the league.

Sunshine Stars will play host to third-placed Kwara United in Akure. The Akure Gunners will be looking to erase all memories of their drubbing at the hand of Abia Warriors with a good performance on their own turf.

8th placed Lobi Stars host Wikki Tourists at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi with both teams looking for much needed wins in the game.

MFM lock horns with troubled Heartland FC at the Soccer Temple in Agege in the Fidelis Ilechukwu derby. Heartland are currently in 18th place on the NPFL table.

Jigawa Golden Stars welcome bottom side, Adamawa United to the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna for their NPFL Matchday 9 encounter.

On Monday, FC Ifeanyi Ubah welcome Kano Pillars to their home ground in Nnewi for their NPFL fixture. Fourth placed Pillars will be looking to break into the top three for the first time this season, while Ifeanyi Ubah are embroiled in the relegation struggle. The match will be beamed live on NTA and the NPFL.tv app.

Second place Rivers United host Nasarawa United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats in their previous matches. The match will be aired on NTA and the NPFL.tv app.
