Enyimba lose title winning skipper to foreign club
Enyimba International FC have lost the services of 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League winning skipper to a foreign club.
John Noble was Enyimba FC skipper last season and has officially completed a transfer to Tanzanian Premier League club Tabora United FC.
Noble has signed a one-year contract with Tabora United FC and was unveiled on Sunday July 30, 2023 by the newly promoted club.
Tabora United FC earned promotion to the Premier League last season and have splashed the cash to reinforce ahead of the 2023/2024 season.
A Nigerian International, Noble will begin a new chapter in the East African Country. He joins a list that includes Victor Mboama, Inemesit Sunday who have already completed moves to East African clubs this summer.
For Enyimba FC, a new skipper will be name and goalkeeping replacement sought in place of the departed shot-stopper who stepped in to lead the boys after the exit of Austin Oladapo.
