Enyimba Ready To Punish Rahimo FC Says Onuwa
Ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League encounter between Nigeria’s representative, Enyimba and Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso, midfielder Chukwuka Onuwa is hopeful that Enyimba can triumph in the game.
“We are ready to fight in the pitch to make sure we win to advance to the next stage of the competition having lost the first leg by a slim margin 1-0 it will be a different ball game because we are going to punish them in the pitch to advance in the competition”, Onuwa said.
Having lost the first leg 1-0 in Ouagadougou, Onuwa says he knows the importance of the second leg that is expected to take place behind close door in Aba.
“We understand the importance of the game and having lost the first leg we now have the details of how they play also how to counter them despite they are also a good side with alot of good players and very energetic too, our experience as a team having played on the continent in the past season will be an added advantage for us to win the match on Sunday by the Grace of God.”
Two-time CAF champions league winners, Enyimba needs to overturn a 1-0 deficit in order to progress into the next round of the competition.
