EPL: Iwobi Scores Twice in Fulham’s 3-2 Loss to West Ham
Nigerian International Alex Iwobi scored twice for Fulham, but his efforts were not enough as they fell to a 3-2 defeat against West Ham United in their Premier League clash on Tuesday.
The match, a thrilling London derby, saw Fulham trailing by two goals before Iwobi sparked hopes of a comeback in the second half. In the 51st minute, his cross into the box deceived everyone, including the goalkeeper, and found its way into the net to make it 2-1.
Iwobi struck again in the 78th minute with another cross that turned into a goal, bringing Fulham closer at 3-2. Despite his impressive performance, Fulham couldn’t find the equalizer, allowing West Ham to secure the win.
