Erling Haaland Puts Luxury Mercedes GLS 63 AMG Up for Sale for ₦2.5 Billion
Manchester City star, Erling Haaland has grabbed attention once again, but this time it’s not for his football skills. The 24-year-old Norwegian striker is reportedly selling his luxury Mercedes GLS 63 AMG for ₦2.5 billion (€1.5 million), a significant mark-up from its original price of €200,000.
The high-end SUV, now listed on the AUTO BILD used car market, is a collector’s dream. Haaland, who was part of Manchester City’s treble-winning team in 2023, was the first owner of this powerful vehicle.
The Mercedes GLS 63 AMG features a 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine that delivers 612 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque. Weighing 2.6 tonnes, the SUV can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. It has only been driven for 17,707 kilometres and was last inspected in April 2024. The car is still in excellent condition, with a TÜV certification valid until April 2025.
The vehicle, finished in white metallic with a black leather interior, is the epitome of luxury. Haaland’s love for high-end cars is well known, and this car is part of an impressive collection, which also includes a Rolls Royce Cullinan and a Range Rover Sport P510e First Edition.
This sale comes just months after Haaland purchased the most expensive Mercedes ever made, the Mercedes-AMG One, reportedly worth over ₦5.6 billion ($3.5 million). Haaland’s car collection is worth more than ₦500 million, showcasing his passion for exotic cars.
