Eto’o, Muntari, Matuidi, Kean now Lukaku – When will FIGC take an action against racist Cagliari fans and the club?

While others are trying to end racism, in the Italian Serie A it is been encouraged in all forms.

From 2010 till date black players have been racially abused by Italian fans and specifically by fans of a club who have not been punished.

In 2010, Samuel Eto’o was racially abused by Cagliari fans, same fans racially abused Sulley Muntari in April 2017. The same Cagliari fans racially abused Blaise Matuidi in January 2018.

Just last season, in April 2019,Juventus 19-year-old striker Moise Kean was a subject of racist abuse.

Former United striker Romelu Lukaku is now the latest victim. In the video below the Monkey noise hurled at the Belgian before and after he scored from the spot was just devastating.

Inter Milan secured a 2-1 win at Cagliari in a Serie A game on Sunday with Romelu Lukaku scoring the winning goal to increase is tally to two from two serie A games.

If a strict measure is taken this menace will be curb to a great extent.
