Etor Daniel bags hat-trick of assist to settle Dhofar derby

There is no stopping Nigerian striker Daniel Etor as he settled the biggest derby in Oman shortly after helping his side end their 16-year trophyless run.

Last night, it was all Etor Daniel in the Dhofar derby involving his club Al Nasr and Dhofor at The Salalah Youth Complex (Salalah).

The Dhofar derby is the biggest game in Oman and the man for the big occasion, Etor Daniel was on hand to help his side take the day against the team they both share a stadium.

For Al Nasr’s first goal in the 8th minutes of the game, Etor Daniel left his marker for dead before crossing to Abdulrazak who nodded home from close range.

Etor Daniel was again involved in Al Nasr’s second goal, he was fouled in the box and the referee rewarded his side with a penalty that was converted by Yunis.

Etor Daniel then bagged a hat-trick of assist as he set Yunis up for his second of the day and Al Nasr’s third of the day when the Nigerian square play found the head of his teammate.

So far this season Etor Daniel has assisted 16 goals while scoring 8 goals in all competition.

With 9 games to the end of the Oman Professional League Al Nasr sit third on the log with 28 points from 17 games played.
