Etor Daniel helps Al Nasr end losing streak

Nigerian striker Daniel Etor has helped Al Nasr end their losing streak after pushing his side to a 3-1 away win against Sur Club at the Sur Sports Complex in their Omani league game on Wednesday.

It has not been business as usual for Al Nasr this season, after ending their Sultan Cup defence in the first round, Etor and hus teamates shifted their attention to the AFC Cup.

Sadly, they were knocked out of the Asian Cup by Palestinian side Al Quds after aggregate score of 3-1 following a 2-1 away lose and 1-0 home lose to Al Quds.

Just while they were getting over the home and away loses and the exit from the AFC Asian Cup, they were beaten by Al-Rustuq in their forst league match in the second of the Omani league.

But on Wednesday, Etor Daniel and hus teamates ensured the losing streak ended with a commanding away win.

Etor Daniel assisted one of the goals. The former Enyimba attacker received a through pass beat his marker and sent a cross into the box which Al Fazri nodded home in the 31st minite of the game.

Al Hajri opened the scoring for Al Nasr in the 10th minute of the game, ths host pegged their visitors back in the 26th minite but Al Fazri restored the lead.

Al Fazri scored the goal in the 31st minute after converting Etor’s wonderful pass. Dgan in the 89th minute of the game ensured the maximum points was secured with his strike.
