Exciting opening day for Super Eagles stars in Serie A
The new Serie A season is almost here, and the fixtures for the opening day have been announced, presenting exciting challenges for Nigerian stars Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
Two of Nigeria’s top players, Osimhen and Lookman, will start their campaigns with tricky away games.
Napoli, the former champions who still have Victor Osimhen, will face a tough match against Hellas Verona. Osimhen, who scored 15 goals in 25 matches last season, hopes to help his team reclaim their title under new manager Antonio Conte.
Meanwhile, Europa League winners Atalanta, featuring the impressive Lookman, will have a challenging away game against Lecce. Lookman, who scored 11 goals in 31 games last season, aims to lead his team to another successful season.
Samuel Chukwueze will begin his second season with AC Milan, as they host Torino at the famous San Siro. Chukwueze, who scored just one goal in his debut Serie A season, is looking to make a bigger impact this time around.
The new Serie A season kicks off on August 17th, and with the release of the opening-day fixtures, the stage is set for Nigeria’s stars to shine and lead their clubs to glory.
