Eze’s Crystal Palace trash Ighalo’s Man Utd to become the 7th club to achieve an Old Trafford feat

Eberechi Eze and Odion Ighalo were involved for their clubs as Crystal Palace recorded an emphatic 3-1 win against Manchester United at the Old Trafford on Saturday.

Both Nigerian players didn’t start for their respective clubs but were introduced in the second half as Crystal Palace secured an easy 3-1 win against Manchester United.

Andros Townsend scored the first goal of the game, former Manchester United forward Wilfried Zaha doubled the lead from the spot kick before Donny van de Beek pulled one back on his debut.

Wilfried Zaha extended the two-goal cushion with his second goal to put the game beyond Manchester United and put Crystal Palace in a unique list.

Making Crystal Palace just the 7th club who have beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford in consecutive Premier League seasons:

✓ Manchester City x2
✓ Bolton
✓ Liverpool
✓ Southampton
✓ Tottenham
✓ West Brom
✓ Crystal Palace

Eberechi Eze was subbed on in the second half and was on the pitch for 15 minutes while Odion Ighalo surprisingly featured in this one but just for 9 minutes.
