Ezine Kalu named #AfroBasketWomen MVP; joined by Evelyn Akhator in tournament’s best 5

After a consistent display and most importantly in the 60-55 win in the final against Senegal; D’Tigress Ezine Kalu was named the 2019 Afrobasket women MVP.

The Nigerian who averaged 13 PPG and 3.2APG at the tournament was named the best among the rest.

She followed in the steps of Evelyn Akhator who was named the best player of the tournament in the 2017 edition.

Both D’Tigress players made the list of the best five:
