” False rumours ” Sadio Mane’s Agent Finally Responds to £100k Liverpool weekly wage stories.

Sadio Mane ended his six year stay at Liverpool last week after agreeing to a 3 year contract with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

Mane’s decision to leave Liverpool was linked to reports the Sengalese star was earning £100k weekly at Liverpool despite being one of the Clubs most consistent performers .

Speaking to TV5MONDE , Mane’s agent Bakary Cissé described as false reports that his client was earning £100k weekly at Liverpool.

Cissé said “Those are false rumours. We didn’t want to talk about that.

“A player of Sadio’s calibre can’t be earning the salary that people are speaking about. The numbers circulating are completely wrong.

“Sadio was already earning more than that when he joined Liverpool from Southampton. He extended his contract in 2018 and his salary was much higher than the numbers circulating in the media.”
