Fans Applaud Akwa Ibom State Governor For “Memorable” CAF Confederation Cup Final Hosting.
A night the entirety of Africa will be proud of it was at the Nest of champions Uyo , venue for the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup Final. A Morrocan Journalist and a host of supporters have applauded the chief host (Akwa Ibom state Governor) for providing necessary logistics for a successful hosting of the Game.
Speaking with Sportsration Correspondent Nsikakabasi Akpan immediately after the trophy presentation Jawab Akbi expressed his delight at the hospitality and orderliness witnessed in the organization of the final.
He said ” We hear many bad opinions about Nigerians but today we see something different. The hospitality, orderliness and fan turnout for a neutral game is special. I want to come back for another final ” Jawab Akbi concluded.
The views by the well travelled CAF/FIFA Accredited Journalist was rechoed by different Nigerian fans. The excited spectators arrived the stadium to watch RS Berkane defeat Orlando Pirates to the title with free tickets courtesy of Mr Udom Emmanuel the Governor of Akwa Ibom state .
Mr Emmanuel Adu who flew into Uyo on Matchday was pleased with the seamless and orderly organization as made possible by the Local organizing committee. He said ” This is Beautiful organization. Honestly I’m glad I came.”

In the end , RS Berkane received the trophy as Champions of the 2022 CAF Confederation cup while the Akwa Ibom state Governor Mr Udom Emmanuel and the LOC received massive commendations for hosting a ” Memorable ” Final.
