FC Ifeanyiubah’s Godwin Obaje sets eyes on his goal scoring record

Newly signed FC IfeanyiUbah player Godwin Obaje has said he is set to beat his 18-goal tally he scored last season while he was at Wikki Tourists.

Godwin Obaje whose move to Tunisia Ligue 1 outfit, Etoile du Sahel broke down over contractual issues has signed a lucrative 3-year-deal with the Federation Cup champions FC IfeanyiUbah.

Incidentally, Godwin Obaje’s first match for the Anambra Warriors will be against his former club, Wikki Tourists, if selected to start on Sunday and the 2015-16 NPFL highest goal scorer says he is ready to score more goals for his new club than he did at his previous.

” I’m happy to have joined a big club like FC Ifeanyiubah which is one of the best in the country.”

“Last year, I did well for Wikki Tourists by emerging as the highest goal scorer in the league, and I want to score more goals for my new club this term.

“I can’t wait to put on FC Ifeanyiubah shirt and start scoring again.”
