With just three games to the end of the league and just one point behind table-toppers, Copenhagen, Midtjylland need their best player and goal scorer to stand a chance of beating their rivals to the title.

Hence, the need for Paul Onuachu who is the Danish Supaliga third highest goal scorer with 14 goals and 3 assists in 20 games.

The club’ sports director, Svend Graversen, revealed to the local media Herning Folkeblad that the club has appealed the card are hoping for a reversal.

“When we choose to appeal to Paul’s second yellow card, it is because we believe that there is objective evidence on our side.”

“Appeals like this are not something we often use. It is quite rare that we get there, ”says Svend Graversen.
