FC Ufa 2 FK Yenisey 1: Sylvester Igboun’s strike ends Gorozhane winless streak

Nigerian forward Sylvester Igboun scored the winning goal as FC Ufa beat Yenisey Krasnoyarsk 2-1 at the Neftyanik Stadium on Saturday in their Russian Premier League matchday 9 clash.

Yenisey Krasnoyarsk put the visitors in front in the 35th minutes of the game. Yenisey powered home with his head from Petar Zanev free kick.

A minute after the restart of the second half, Vyacheslav Krotov equalized for Gorozhane. Ivan Paurevic great play sets up the goal.

23 minutes after UFA got the equalizer, Sylvester Igboun scored the winning goal from a corner kick.

The goal was all that the ome team needed to end their six-game winless streak.

The goal also ended Sylvester Igboun’s eight scoreless streak.
