FIFA Bans Samson Siasia For Life

Federation Of International Football Association, FIFA, has banned former Super Eagles player and coach Samson Siasia for life.

In a release by FIFA on Friday, Siasia was found to have breached FIFA Code Of Ethics having accepted that he would receive bribe in relation to the manipulation of matches and also fined CHF 50,000

As a player Samson Siasia won the AFCON with Nigeria in 1994 and played at the World Cup same year.

He also led his country’s U20 & U23s to African success in 2005 and 2015 respectively.

Siasia is the most decorated African football coach at the Olympics with silver in 2008 and bronze in 2016.
